pilates movements helps healing

Originally known as ‘controlology’, Pilates was developed early in the 20th century by Joseph Pilates as a method to recover from injury and improve movement technique.

‘Contrology (Pilates) develops the body uniformly, corrects wrong postures, restores physical vitality, invigorates the mind and elevates the spirit.’
– Joseph Pilates
